Huntley Hills:

Huntley Hills is one of the most affordable neighborhoods on the north side of the city inside the perimeter.  Homes are priced in the $200-300k range and the community offers a swim/tennis club and plenty of greenspace.

Huntley Hills is made up of single family homes built in the 1950's. Most homes are brick construction ranch houses and many have 1 car garages and partial basements.  Many roads in the neighborhood are named after military ranks (such as "Admiral" Drive and "Commander" Drive) and the military influence can be seen in the architecture as well.

Kids can walk to Huntley Hills Elementary and Chamblee High School and with a little longer hike they can take advantage of the brand new Chamblee Middle School.  These schools are respected and with the relatively low Dekalb county taxes and the low cost of entry, Huntley Hills makes for a nice value for first time buyers and couples with children.
